[07/17/2008] - SG-1000 re-convertions! |
Re-convertion?! Yes, the game Three Dragon Story, made by Zemina for MSX (and so far a rare game), was ported in the 80s to SG-1000… and now it was just “re-ported” to MSX by me!
Below a screenshot from the game, already running on a emulator:

It just needs to be debugged, to avoid any strange problem…
Update: another rare game in the re-convertion list…

A new MSX game, which will be demonstrated on MSXRio – Boxboy, a “Sokoban” style game for MSX1.
The game is finished, it has 150 levels dividided into 6 worlds, all in just 32kb! A video of the game is online right here!

The Educom project was an attempt by UFRJ University, dated from 1983, to create on MSX an educational project. However when the project was finished, MSX computers were no longer comercialized in Brazil.

Ricardo Oazem, creator of VDU (Video Display Unit – shown on 2007 MSX-Rio and on 2007 MSX Jaú meetings) just anounced the evolution of his project, which now is called VSU (Video and Sound Unit).
The VSU is made with 2 v9958 together with 2 v9990 (instead of the 4 v9958 from VDU), and it also comes with an OPL4 chip! VSU will be 100% compatible with both GFX9000 and Moonsound!
The VSU prototype will be displayed on MSX Rio this year… just wait and see!

Amusement Factory once more shakes the MSX world, with another convertion from Spectrum: Sim City! Among several news (like the game song that few Spectrum users must know) the game have mouse support – functional even on MSX1!

Another tape to disk conversion, this time Amusement Factory – which some short time ago released the Alteread Beast conversion – now released the Karateka disk version.
This version has several changes, including bugfixes that appeared even in the original ZX Spectrum version!
