Ademir Carchano announced this week that he is manufacturing MSX hardware again. Besides slot expanders, he will also make IDEs, disk-drive interfaces, Mega-mappers (megaram and mapper in one cartridge), new Expert3 boards and that CIEL3++ project will be restarted.

After a long developing period, this project was finally opened to the public: a remake of Konami’s Knightmare for MSX2, with several news, among them multicolored sprites in the game!

[08/26/2005] - One Chip MSX won’t be produced |
As announced on the MSX Resource Center and on the Gigamix weblog, the One Chip MSX from ASCII had only 3414 pre-orders out of the 5000 needed.
ASCII is still investigating other means to make the OCM production viable, but for now it’s cancelled.
